RAISE the Tide · Community Leaderboard
A rising tide floats everyone’s boats.
Nominate the nonprofits and companies building shared prosperity and safe AI that keeps humans in charge — then help them rise together instead of competing. RAISE: Responsible AI Safety Education
One nonprofit + one for-profit · Free · Open to everyone
Why a tide, not a race
Collaboration beats competition.
The hardest problems of the AI era — who owns the gains, who stays in control — won’t be solved by one organization winning. We’re building connections between the organizations that rise to the top of our leaderboard, so they can collaborate rather than compete, and the rising tide floats everyone’s boats.
01 · Shared prosperity
Gains that reach everyone
New ownership models, data-sovereignty tools, regenerative products, public-interest technology and policy innovations that spread the gains widely.
02 · Safe AI
Guardrails that actually hold
Human oversight, containment and safety research, transparency and accountability — real protection from uncontrolled swarms of autonomous AI agents.
03 · Humans in charge
People at the helm
Technology that serves people and is governed by people: a rising tide that lifts all boats, with humans still at the helm.
How it works
Three steps. About as long as a coffee break.
Step 1
Pick two
Choose one nonprofit and one for-profit that are inventing practical methods for systemic innovation.
Step 2
Tell us why
Share how each one lifts everyone’s boat and keeps humans in charge of AI, then rank eight priority areas in the order that matters most to you.
Step 3
Rise together
Your picks join a public leaderboard. Opt in to re-rank monthly, quarterly or twice a year — and we connect the leaders so they collaborate rather than compete.
Your two picks
One nonprofit. One for-profit. Both lifting the tide.
Shared prosperity needs mission-driven organizations and businesses that prove the model can sustain itself. Naming one of each helps us connect them across sectors.
Pick #1
A nonprofit
Mission-first organizations inventing ways for everyone to share in the gains.
- Charitable 501(c)(3) or equivalent
- Cooperative or mutual-aid network
- Foundation
- Research institute or academic lab
- Advocacy, policy or standards body
- Community coalition or open-source collective
Pick #2
A for-profit
Companies proving that shared prosperity and human-centered AI make good business.
- Certified B Corp or public benefit corporation
- Employee-owned company or worker cooperative
- Early-stage startup
- Established company
- Social enterprise or impact venture
Then rank what matters most to you
When you nominate, you’ll put these eight priority areas in your own order.
- Broadly shared prosperity
- Worker, community and cooperative ownership
- Data sovereignty and fair value for personal data
- Human oversight and control of autonomous AI agents
- Containment and safety research for multi-agent systems
- Transparency and accountability for AI deployers
- Regenerative products and supply chains
- Better public policy and governance
The leaderboard
A leaderboard that builds bridges, not podiums.
Every nominated organization joins an ongoing public leaderboard. Instead of crowning a single winner, we introduce the organizations that rise to the top to one another — so they can share what works, combine strengths and lift the whole field.
